My name is Chance Kelley, your AI-Powered Partner Success Assistant. I'll be with you through this entire experience, from here through your next step with Kingdom inQ Virtual Solutions, so before we get into anything else, I wanted to properly introduce myself.
Before you go any further, we want to give you an honest look at what you're actually considering, something most opportunities skip.
This opportunity is designed specifically for individuals who understand, or are open to understanding, the independent contractor model. That's a different arrangement from a traditional job, and the difference matters enough that we want to walk through it with you directly, before anything else.
Over the next few pages, we'll look at the role, the risk, and the reward as we compare a traditional W2 position side by side with this independent contractor opportunity. Once you've seen both, you'll make a deliberate choice about which one fits where you are right now.
A W2 position places you inside a structure someone else designs. The employer decides how, when, and where the work gets done, and you operate within that.
Here's a general breakdown of what that can include:
You are not an employee. You operate as your own business, delivering a service under agreed-upon terms. There is no employer and no chain of command.
Here's a general breakdown of what that can include:
When you get excited about a new job, you think about the opportunity, not the expenses that come with it automatically.
Here's a general breakdown of what that can include:
These costs go unnamed. They come out of your earnings the same way any expense does. You just never see them listed on an offer letter.
Nothing is hidden. You see exactly what is required before you commit, so you can make a real decision.
Here's a general breakdown of what that can include:
Kingdom inQ LLC is not a tax professional, and nothing shared here should be taken as tax advice. This is provided for general reference only. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own tax obligations. We encourage you to speak with a tax professional or CPA before you begin earning.
That is a legitimate choice. Here is what a W2 position offers and a general breakdown of what that can include:
For someone who values control over their own time, this model offers something a traditional position cannot.
Here's a general breakdown of what that can include:
Kingdom inQ LLC is not a tax professional, and nothing shared here should be taken as tax advice. This is provided for general reference only. Tax deductions for sole proprietors vary. We encourage you to speak with a tax professional or CPA to understand what may apply to your specific situation.
Select the path that reflects what you came here looking for. There's no wrong answer, only the honest one.
This opportunity is built specifically around the independent contractor model, so it likely isn't the right fit for what you're looking for right now.
We wish you nothing but the best on your search, and the door is never closed if that changes down the road.
You looked at both sides, the traditional path and the independent contractor path, and you chose to move forward in partnership with Kingdom inQ Virtual Solutions. That's not a small thing, and we don't take it lightly.
From here, I'll keep walking you through everything, from what the work actually looks like day to day, to how the partnership is structured, what you could realistically earn, and what it takes, step by step, to get from here to actively servicing a client.
By the end, our hope is that everything we've laid out for you lands exactly where it needs to, helping you make a sound, confident decision to move forward and confirm your next steps toward partnering with Kingdom inQ Virtual Solutions as a Remote Customer Support Contractor.
As a Remote Customer Support Contractor, you'd be providing customer support on behalf of well-known, established brands, all through the Arise platform.
Depending on the client you choose, that could look like answering general questions, helping with basic technical issues, processing orders, updating account information, booking travel, or resolving service concerns.
The industries vary.
We won't name specific clients today. You'll see full client details once you're further into the process, once your assessment results open up which opportunities are actually visible to you.
Here's what stays true no matter which client you end up with. You're stepping in to represent a brand people already know and trust, and that's worth taking seriously. Show up, communicate clearly, follow through on what's expected, and you'll do well here.
This tends to fit best for people who are self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and organized enough to manage their own schedule without someone standing over their shoulder.
That's the role, in plain terms. Now let's talk about how the partnership around it actually works.
This is where it helps to understand what's happening behind the scenes, because understanding the structure will help everything else in this session make sense.
You're not walking into this alone, and you're not walking into it with just one company either. There are three layers working together here, and each one plays a different part.
It starts with the client brands, the companies whose customers you'd actually be supporting. Those brands partner with Arise, which operates as the platform connecting everyone in this system. Arise then partners with companies like ours, Kingdom inQ LLC, who they call a Service Partner and or IBO. And we, in turn, partner with you.
As your Service Partner, here's what we actually do. We guide you through registration, step by step. We stay in communication with you as you move through activation. Once you're active, we handle administrative coordination, contractor pay processing, and invoicing. And you'll get access to our proprietary Agent Support Portal, your home base for updates, resources, and everything related to your pay.
You'll actually be working inside two systems day to day. The Arise platform, where certification and client servicing happen. And the KIVS Agent Support Portal, where we stay connected with you and manage the partnership side of things.
To be transparent with you, there are parts of this process that live entirely inside the Arise platform and sit outside of what we control. Client seat availability. When certification classes get posted. Assessment outcomes. Background check results. Final approval decisions. Those all happen on Arise's side, not ours. Our job is to guide you, support you, and stay in your corner throughout. What we can't do is override what Arise or their clients decide.
That's why communication between us matters so much, especially in the parts of this process that are outside our hands. The more we hear from you, the better we can support you through it.
Here's something worth knowing right away. Your earning potential starts before you're even actively servicing a client. Certification is paid from day one of class, all the way through your transition into active servicing. So the moment you start certification, you start earning.
Once you're actively servicing, here's the honest answer up front. We pay what the client pays. There's no single number we can give you, because it depends on the client you end up certifying for. What we can give you is a range. Many client opportunities fall somewhere between $10 and $17 an hour. Some land a little lower, some a little higher, depending on the client and what's in place at the time you certify.
On top of that base range, some clients offer additional ways to earn more. Here's what that can look like:
None of this is guaranteed, and it varies client to client, but it's worth knowing about, because it can meaningfully change what you take home.
As a partner of KIVS, we also offer referral opportunities, another way to earn simply by being part of this partnership. This is separate from client-side incentives and isn't tied to any one opportunity. More details will be shared during onboarding.
You'll build your schedule in thirty-minute intervals, based on what's available and what you choose to commit to. Because this is independent contractor work, your income is a direct reflection of the intervals you select and actually show up for.
We want to be upfront with you about how we position this opportunity. First and foremost, this is supplemental income. It's built for people who want flexible, additional income alongside whatever else is already going on in their life, not something you should walk in expecting to replace a full-time paycheck on day one. Some contractors do grow into this over time, take on more intervals, build consistency, and eventually turn it into something closer to full-time income. That's a real outcome for some people. It's just not the starting expectation, and it's not something anyone should count on right away.
Because you're operating as an independent contractor, no taxes are withheld from what you earn. That responsibility sits with you, and we'll walk through that more when we get to the financial structure of this partnership.
Kingdom inQ LLC is not a tax professional, and nothing shared here should be taken as tax advice. This is provided for general reference only. As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own tax obligations. We encourage you to speak with a tax professional or CPA about your specific situation.
Now that you know what this could mean for you, let's walk through what it actually takes to get there.
That first form you filled out, before you ever got here, was just your entry point. It let us confirm you were in the right place before we went any further. This session has been the next layer of that.
If everything you've heard today feels right, and you confirm your next steps at the end of this session, your very next move is completing the Official Contractor Application with Kingdom inQ Virtual Solutions.
This one's more formal. It includes the acknowledgments, the eligibility confirmations, and the disclosures that let us both know for certain there's nothing standing in the way before you invest any more time into registration.
This step exists to protect you as much as it protects us. It makes sure everyone's aligned before you go any deeper, and it's what opens the door to actually registering on the Arise platform.
Once you submit it, one of three things happens.
Approved: Your application gets approved, and you move forward.
Delayed: It gets delayed while we clarify something together.
Disqualified: In some cases, it gets disqualified because of a platform or eligibility restriction that can't be worked around.
So if you're wondering whether all of this means starting over, it doesn't. You're not starting over. You're moving forward, with everything you've already done still counting.
Once your application is approved, here's what happens next. This phase is called Self-Registration and Activation. It's called self-registration because a handful of required steps happen directly inside the Arise platform, and only you can complete them. Kingdom inQ can't do this part for you, but we're not sending you in without support either.
Here's something we built specifically to help you walk into this prepared. One of the most important pieces of self-registration is a skills assessment built into the platform. To help you approach that with real confidence, we created something called the Skills Assessment Readiness Simulation. It's designed to help you understand the kind of thinking and pacing the real assessment calls for, so you're not walking in blind.
Once you complete that simulation, you'll automatically receive your orientation email, walking you through exactly how to self-register on the Arise platform, step by step. It includes the Pre-Registration Progress Confirmation Tool. Here's why that tool matters. Once this phase starts, most of what happens takes place inside the Arise system, and Arise doesn't notify us when you move from one step to the next. Without you telling us, we simply won't know where you are. That's exactly what the Pre-Registration Progress Confirmation Tool is for. It's a quick way to keep us updated as you move through registration, so if something stalls or you run into a question, we already know where you are and can jump in to help.
Once you've gone through self-registration and completed everything required, the last step is entering our Service Partner ID. That's what completes the process, and it's the only point where the system automatically notifies us, so we can finalize your activation under our call center.
Let's walk through what those required steps actually look like.
One quick thing before you get into registration.
The Arise platform recognizes Social Security Numbers that already exist in its system. So if you've ever touched the platform before, even years ago, even if it never went anywhere, your SSN might get flagged when you try to register.
If that happens to you, don't worry. It's more common than people think, and it's not a disqualifier. There's a step later, on the Official Contractor Application, that walks you through exactly what to do if this applies to you.
For now, just know it's a possibility, and if it comes up, you're not starting from a bad place. You're just following a slightly different path to get to the same destination.
Since you'll be working from your own home base, part of that is owning your own setup.
As an independent contractor, you're responsible for providing and maintaining your own equipment. This needs to be the same system you'll actually use throughout registration, certification, and servicing, not a borrowed or different device. Here's what the platform requires at minimum.
A couple of things worth knowing. Mac systems and Chromebooks can't be used for servicing on this platform. And some clients may have additional requirements beyond this baseline, which you'll be able to see once you're further into the process.
During self-registration, you'll complete a PC Scan inside the Arise system. It simply confirms your setup meets these standards before you move forward. This scan checks the actual computer you'll be using going forward, so it needs to happen on your real setup, not a stand-in. We'd genuinely recommend checking your equipment against this list now, before you get there, so nothing catches you off guard.
After the PC Scan, you'll move into a required assessment inside the Arise platform called the Harver assessment. This is the actual evaluation, separate from the Skills Assessment Readiness Simulation we mentioned earlier, which exists specifically to help you prepare for it.
It looks at things like communication ability, comprehension, professionalism, and how well you follow security standards. Think of it less as a pass-fail test and more as a matching process. The results place you into a tier, and that tier determines which client opportunities become visible to you.
Depending on how the assessment goes and what's available at the time, you might not see client opportunities the moment you finish. Sometimes there's a short wait while opportunities that match your tier open up. In other cases, if your results don't align with what's currently available, there's a 90-day waiting period before you're able to retake the assessment.
That's not a reflection of you failing at something. It's just part of how the system works, and we'd rather you know that going in than be caught off guard by it.
Use the readiness simulation before you get here. It genuinely helps.
When you get to the part of registration where you select how you're joining the platform, choose Agent under a Service Partner. That's the path built for this partnership, and it's what allows you to register under Kingdom inQ using our Service Partner ID. The platform may present other registration paths depending on your situation, but this session is focused on the Agent path, since that's what KIVS is built to support.
Once you're registered and your assessment results open up client visibility, here's what happens next.
You'll see a list of client opportunities that match your tier. From there, certification works on a first-come, first-served basis. When a class opens for a client you're interested in, you'll want to move on it, because seats don't stay open long.
Let's talk about what certification actually looks like. Classes typically run up to 6 days a week, for up to 6 hours a day, for a set number of weeks depending on the client.
There are also participation requirements you'll need to meet throughout certification. You'll need a working camera, since you're required to be on camera throughout certification for participation verification. You'll also need to show your ID credentials, confirming that the person who registered for certification is the same person showing up for it. Before class, you'll complete a PC Scan to confirm your computer meets the requirements, on the same system you'll actually be using to service afterward. In some cases, the client may run their own separate PC Scan as well.
Here's something a lot of people don't realize going in. Not every independent contractor opportunity pays you during certification at all. Arise does, and that's worth recognizing, even though the rate itself is modest. It's a flat rate of $3.82 per interval, which works out to $7.64 an hour. That rate is the same for everyone, no matter which client you're certifying for, since certification is a separate stage from the client pay ranges we covered earlier.
Can you certify for more than one client at the same time? This is the one question that comes up often regarding certification, so we want to answer it directly. No, and here's why. Certification classes run up to 6 days a week for up to 6 hours a day, which doesn't leave room to certify for two clients simultaneously. But once you've completed certification and you're actively servicing a client, you absolutely can certify for an additional client later on, while continuing to service the one you're already on. You'd just build your schedule to make room for both.
Now, something important about staying engaged once you reach this point. Arise recently implemented a change that removes agents from a Service Partner's roster if they go idle, meaning they're not in certification and not actively servicing any client. This is a decision made entirely by Arise, not by Kingdom inQ. So once your client visibility opens up, take it seriously. Compare the opportunities in front of you, choose deliberately, and commit to moving forward with certification or servicing.
Life happens, and we understand that. If something comes up on your end that puts you at risk of going idle, tell us. Reach out before it becomes a problem, not after, because there may be things we can do on our end to advocate for you. But we can't step in if we don't know.
One more honest thing, while we're talking about staying engaged. This kind of consistency, showing up when you're scheduled and following through on your commitments, matters throughout this entire partnership. It's part of what makes this work, for you and for the clients you're servicing.
Transparency matters here just as much as everything else we've covered.
There are two ongoing fees, both billed every pay period. First, a Kingdom inQ administrative fee of $35, which covers, but not limited to, servicing invoice management, contractor pay processing, ongoing support, and your access to the Agent Support Portal. Second, an Arise platform usage fee of 5% of your gross certification and or servicing invoice. This one comes from Arise directly, not from us, and it's what gives you access to the platform itself, the client opportunities available on it, and the scheduling system you'll use to manage your intervals.
Beyond those two ongoing fees, there are two one-time costs worth knowing about upfront.
The first is a background check, which typically runs between $30 and $75 depending on the client you're certifying for. Some clients cover this cost directly. The fee is paid directly to the preferred vendor provided by Arise. One thing worth mentioning, since it comes up often. This has to be completed through the Arise platform specifically. A background check from a previous job or a different platform can't be transferred over, even if it was done recently.
The second is a certification class seat deposit. This one's a little different, because it's refundable. It exists to hold your seat and confirm your commitment to actually showing up on day one. Attend the full first day of certification, and that deposit is returned to you. The exact amount will be disclosed to you during the certification process itself.
We want to be upfront about something, because we know these costs can raise a flag for people, and that reaction is fair. Independent contractor opportunities that ask for money upfront get compared to scams a lot, and honestly, we understand why. But it helps to look at this the same way you'd look at a traditional job. A traditional employee has real out-of-pocket costs too. Work clothes. Gas or a bus pass to get there. Lunch. Those costs just aren't usually labeled as fees, so they go unnoticed. As an independent contractor, your costs are simply named directly instead of absorbed quietly. That's really the only difference.
Kingdom inQ LLC is not a tax professional, and nothing shared here should be taken as tax advice. This is provided for general reference only. One more thing worth repeating here, since it's easy to forget once you're focused on the opportunity itself. As an independent contractor, no taxes are withheld from anything you earn, and no healthcare coverage is provided either. You're responsible for setting aside and handling your own taxes, the same way any self-employed person would.
We encourage you to speak with a tax professional or CPA about potential deductions available to you as an independent contractor.
We're not telling you any of this to discourage you. We're telling you because we'd rather you walk in with your eyes open than be surprised by something later.
Nothing in this session was held back. That was intentional. We'd rather you make this decision with the full picture in front of you than find pieces of it out later.
If everything you've heard today feels right, here's what happens next. You'll confirm your next steps, and that sets the Official Contractor Application in motion. From there, it's registration, certification, and everything we just walked through, with us in your corner the entire way.
This is your moment to decide.
If this sounds like a partnership you want to move forward with, confirm your next steps now, and let's get started, together.
We understand this may not be the right fit or the right time — and that's okay. If things shift down the road and this opportunity starts to make sense, we'd welcome you back. This decision doesn't have to be permanent.
Take a moment. Is this the right next step for you?
We appreciate you moving through this session and considering this opportunity. That kind of thoughtfulness speaks well of you.
If your circumstances change or this feels like a better fit down the road, the door isn't closed. We genuinely wish you well in whatever comes next.
Your response has been received. Application materials and your next set of instructions are on the way to your inbox.
Review everything carefully when it arrives. Your progress will be guided from here — you're not navigating the next phase alone.
